This is to bring you all up to date on the progress of the Community Plan. There has been a long silence while a small group has been working away to put all the information on the questionnaires on to the database file. Thanks to their sterling efforts, this is now complete and Sharon Davey at CRCC has it on her computer and is producing an analysis.The Plan is now becoming lively again.

There was a meeting recently of the database group and other interested parties at which it was decided:

This is the second opportunity for all the residents of the parishes to have their say so please spread the word as widely as you can and encourage people to spend a few minutes to drop in and express their opinions which are so collectively valuable.

Secondly, and no less importantly, help with event on the day is needed. Can you please spend a couple of hours during the day to lend a hand. Email or phone me and tell me what time is convenient for you.

The steering Committee have been awarded the grants that they have applied for, £3500 from DEFRA and £2000 from Carrick District Services Regeneration fund.

Cuby Parish have decided to be included in the Parish Plan.

A meeting of the Parish Plan steering committee was held at The Kings Arms pub in Tregony on 19th March 2007. 14 people attended the meeting, including the leader of Cuby Parish. Officers were elected as follows:

The next meeting will be held at The Kings Arms on Wednesday 18th April at 7:30 p.m.
Parishioners should note that the Parish Plan has been made a permanent Agenda Item for Tregony Parish Council, and interested parties can attend these meetings as well.
