The Roseland Community School was proud to have their new Farm opened by actress Linda Robson on 15th July 2008.
Miss Robson, who is celebrated for the long running television comedy 'Birds of a Feather', kindly agreed to interrupt her busy schedule to visit the school.
She had a tour of the facility before cutting the ribbon (see clip) and stayed for nearly an hour chatting with guests and pupils from the school.
There was a circus style acrobatic and juggling display by the pupils, and some fine live singing and guitar work from 'Genius'.

The School Farm, which has an interesting mix of small animals, including goats, chickens, ponies and even a rat and a hamster, is the brainchild of Theresa Southworth, Parish Councilor for Tregony, who asks ' We have an empty beehive - if anybody has a swarm of bees to spare, please call' she then went on to say 'We are all very grateful for Miss Robsons' participation today and would like to thank her very much.'
